M12 Connectors – Rugged solutions for industrial and automation applications

M12 connectors are a key component in modern automation technology, providing reliable connections for sensors, actuators, data, and power transmission. Their compact design, high mechanical durability, and protection ratings up to IP67/IP69K make them ideal for demanding industrial environments—from mechanical engineering and transportation systems to process automation.

M12 connectors offer exceptional versatility with a wide range of configurations: they are available as overmolded versions for pre-assembled cable solutions, as well as field-attachable versions for on-site customization. Panel-mount options are also available, enabling direct integration into housings or devices for space-saving and secure connections.
For direct PCB mounting, solder versions are offered in both THR (Through Hole Reflow) and SMD (Surface Mount Device) formats. These are ideal for automated assembly processes and ensure reliable connections using reflow soldering. Connectors can also be supplied in tape-and-reel packaging, supporting efficient processing in pick-and-place lines and seamless integration into modern manufacturing workflows.

  • X-coded: High-speed data transmission up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet
  • S-coded: For AC power applications
  • T-coded: For DC power applications
  • K-coded: High-power AC connections up to 630 V
  • L-coded: DC power supply for field devices
